Mark a line as Optional if it is not mandatory for this detail line to have an outcome recorded against it. Optional lines with no outcome will appear with a green indicator in the Checklist Summary Status report.
Mark a line as Inactive if you do not wish this line to be created on new checklists based on this checklist template. Note, you cannot delete a line if it has been used on an existing checklist, so simply mark as Inactive instead.
