Privacy Policy


Wicketworks Pty Ltd (‘WicketWorks’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘the Company’) is an Australian company with independent agents (‘authorised agents’) marketing and supporting our global customer base. Our head office is in Brisbane, Australia.

We recognise the importance of privacy and are committed to protecting the privacy of registered users (‘users’) of our defect management system (‘the DMS’), clients, shareholders and suppliers. This Privacy Policy describes how we may collect, hold, use and disclose information (including an opinion) about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonable identifiable (‘Personal Information’).

Personal Information collected by WicketWorks will be stored through electronic systems located in various jurisdictions.  Please note the jurisdictions to which Personal Information may be transferred may not provide the equivalent level of data protection to the laws in your home country.  This does not however change our commitment to keeping Personal Information secure.

Data collection

WicketWorks and its authorised agents (‘the ACCEDE Marketing & Support Group’) collects Personal Information as permitted by applicable law, including by the following means:

  • through the ACCEDE public website (‘the ACCEDE website’)
  • through the DMS
  • when performing support services in relation to the DMS
  • when you arrange a demonstration of our services
  • when you request information, training or services from WicketWorks or our authorised agents
  • and otherwise in the course of its business.

Wherever possible, we collect information directly from the individual to whom the information relates.  Personal Information may however be collected in the course of our business (such as from third parties or public information).

The categories of information we may collect include contact details (such as name, phone number, address, email addresses), job title, company, and company address.

The ACCEDE website

You need to give WicketWorks your Personal Information if you want to make an enquiry, arrange a demonstration of our services, to request a callback, to request a free trial, to request a custom quotation, to download our promotional material or to access our White Papers/eBooks .

The ACCEDE website can be accessed anonymously.  Many companies offer programs that help you to visit web sites anonymously. While we will not be able to provide you with a personalised experience if we cannot recognise you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.


To register as a user on the DMS, you are asked to provide WicketWorks with Personal Information, which may include your name, company name, position in the company, email address, phone number and company address or personal address.  This information about you may also be entered into the DMS by the Enterprise’s System Administrator, in order for you to use the DMS.



The ACCEDE website and the DMS use WicketWorks’s ie first party and third party cookies to track online activities in accordance with applicable law.

A cookie is a small file which is placed on the user’s hard drive during a visit to the ACCEDE website or the DMS. This file allows the user to move quickly and easily around the ACCEDE website and to enter the DMS.  It is used to identify a user and tracks a user’s session, providing information that the system uses to efficiently manage your use of the website and the DMS.

Your web browser may be set to accept cookies automatically but can be changed to decline them.  Please note that if you decline to accept cookies, this may mean you may not be able to take full advantage of the ACCEDE website or the DMS.

WicketWorks may from time to time work with third party advertising and personalisation partners that use cookies to help us display personalised content and web advertisements across the Internet based on someone’s past visits to the ACCEDE website.  Cookies placed by our third party partners also assist us with measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns.  You can decide whether or not to accept cookies through your internet browser’s settings.


Using information collected

Personal Information we collect is used only for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.  It is not used or disclosed for any other purpose without consent or as authorised or required by law.

WicketWorks uses your Personal Information for a variety of purposes including the following, to:

  • Provide the information, products or services you requested, and provide information concerning those products or services
  • Provide you with information in connection with other products or services of WicketWorks or its related companies
  • Identify your product and service preferences
  • Customise WicketWorks’s communications to you
  • Share positive product testimonials with others
  • Allow you access to a client project on the DMS
  • Obtain information and/or place orders for products or services from suppliers
  • Transfer any of the assets and/or operations of WicketWorks to another party
  • Any other purpose communicated to you at the time of collecting the Personal Information and if required by law for which consent has been obtained

In relation to a client or a user’s use of the DMS, WicketWorks operates and maintains the DMS in accordance with applicable laws. However, the client or user is responsible for the collection, use and disclosure of any information submitted by clients or users to the DMS.  wicketWorks does not review or monitor any collection, use or disclosure by clients or users of information submitted to, shared or stored in the DMS.  To the extent permitted by law, and otherwise subject to the terms of any agreement in place between WicketWorks and the relevant client, WicketWorks bears no responsibility to any client, user or third party in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of any information stored on the DMS.

Upon the completion of a project, WicketWorks  may provide archival copies of information in connection with a project to that client, which may contain information relating to you which has been submitted to the DMS (either by you or by WicketWorks’s client).  WicketWorks bears no responsibility for any use by that client of the archival copy following WicketWorks providing it.



We may from time to time use your Personal Information to send you information about our products and services and those of related companies which may be of interest to you.

We may contact you from time to time on an ongoing basis by email or other address or contact point which we have collected or obtained in order to provide such information.

If you receive promotional information from us and do not wish to receive this information any longer, you may remove your name from our list by contacting WicketWorks at info@wicketworks.com asking to be removed from our mailing list or follow the instructions in any marketing communication you receive.


Security of your information

WicketWorks holds the Personal Information that it collects on systems that are owned or controlled by WicketWorks and its authorised agents.

WicketWorks and our authorised agents maintain physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.  No transmission over the Internet can be 100% secure and although WicketWorks will take all reasonable steps to protect information in storage, WicketWorks cannot be responsible for the security of any information transmitted over the Internet.


Data sharing

WicketWorks and Authorised Agents

Any Personal Information supplied to the ACCEDE Marketing & Support Group may (as permitted by and in accordance with applicable law) be shared within the ACCEDE Marketing & Support Group to facilitate our business activities and provision of services.  The regions in which WicketWorks offers the ACCEDE DMS are listed at http://accedeglobal.com/quality-management-system-price/.

Authorised Agents

To confirm the identity, scope, region or to raise an issue/complaint regarding an authorised agent please contact us by emailing to WicketWorks at info@wicketworks.com.

Third parties

Personal Information is only shared with third parties:

  • at your direction or with your consent
  • to perform business functions and services on our behalf including in connection with the use or operation of the DMS (such functions may include hosting servers, providing legal, accounting or marketing services or other support services)
  • or as required or permitted by law.

These third parties may be located in various countries, across the globe. Where the ACCEDE Marketing & Support Group does make information or data available to certain third parties to perform business functions and services on behalf of WicketWorks, all such parties will be under an obligation to maintain the security and confidentiality of the Personal Information and to process the data in accordance with WicketWorks’s instructions.


Please note that in using the DMS, users may be communicating with individuals and organisations outside of their home country.  In that case, their use of personal information may not be covered by the law applicable in their home country or applicable privacy protection scheme.



For the purposes of accessing some areas of the ACCEDE website and to use the DMS, you may be supplied with a user name and password.  You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your password and log-in information.


Changing your information

You can request access to the Personal Information we hold about you by making a request to WicketWorks at info@wicketworks.com.  We will provide you with access unless we are legally authorised not to do so.

If at any time you wish to change Personal Information that is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us by emailing to WicketWorks at info@wicketworks.com.  If you wish to have your Personal Information deleted, please let us know in the same manner.

We will take all reasonable steps to change or delete information in response to such a request.  If there is a reason that we cannot make that change or deletion, we will inform you of that reason.


Links to other sites

WicketWorks may provide links to other websites.  These sites operate independently of WicketWorks and have established their own privacy and security policies.  We encourage you to review these policies at any site you visit.  WicketWorks is not responsible for the conduct of those businesses.


For how long does WicketWorks keep personal information?

The time period for which WicketWorks keeps information varies according to what the information is used for.  In some cases there are legal requirements to keep information for a minimum period.  Unless there is a specific legal requirement for WicketWorks to keep the information, WicketWorks will keep personal information for so long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for such other purposes for which consent has been obtained or WicketWorks is otherwise permitted or authorised by law to use the Personal Information.


Dispute resolution

Any questions or concerns regarding the use or disclosure of Personal Information should be directed to WicketWorks’s Privacy Officer (info@wicketworks.com).  WicketWorks will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of Personal Information by reference to the principles contained in this Policy.  If we fail to respond to your concerns, or if you are dissatisfied with the response that you receive from us, you may have the right, depending on the jurisdiction, to make a complaint to the applicable regulator.


Policy changes

If WicketWorks’s information practices change, we will post these changes on the ACCEDE website.  WicketWorks encourages you to review our Privacy Policy periodically.

If we change material terms of this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice of the revised policy for 30 days on the ACCEDE website (see http://accedeglobal.com/accede-news/).

We will also take other steps as necessary depending on the nature of the changes, including obtaining your consent where required by local data protection laws or providing you with the opportunity to delete your Personal Information.

This Privacy Policy has been updated and is effective as of 10 November, 2016.

Acceptable Use Policy


This Acceptable Use Policy (‘Policy’) outlines appropriate use of WicketWorks cloud-based, mobile, collaborative ACCEDE Defect Management System (‘DMS‘), http://accedeglobal.com/ (‘ACCEDE website’)additional services and associated documentation (together referred to as ‘the Services’).  This Policy will be applicable to all users as long as they continue to receive the Services.  WicketWorks encourages users to make a copy of this Policy to refer to in the event of any doubt regarding use of the Services.



This Policy applies to each Enterprise and Authorised User (as defined in the WicketWorks Customer Agreement and End User Licence Agreement (‘the Agreements’)) who receive Services from WicketWorks (‘user’).  A user’s failure to comply with this Policy may lead to suspension or termination of the Services.


Enterprise Obligations

Pursuant to the Agreements, the Enterprise undertakes to:

  • provide WicketWorks with all necessary co-operation and will comply with all reasonable directions given by WicketWorks
  • only use the Services on Projects for which they have a valid licence
  • nominate a System Administrator to administer and monitor the use by Users of the Services
  • be responsible for training their System Administrator and Users in respect of the Services
  • ensure that the Services are only accessible, and are only accessed by the System Administrator and Users added by them from time to time
  • ensure that the System Administrator and Users use the Services in accordance with this Policy
  • use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorised access to or use of the Services
  • only use the Services in accordance with applicable laws and government regulations and in accordance with the Agreements
  • allow WicketWorks to monitor, review and create reports of the customer’s use of the Services
  • fully comply with all laws, by-laws, codes of conduct, ordinance, regulation and operational procedures that concerns the safety of persons or property including without limitation, the laws and codes of conduct concerning operation and health safety, persons conducting or undertaking a business or undertaking, environmental requirements, relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and in-country requirements
  • provide us with all necessary access to information which may be required by us in order for us to render the Services, including without limitation, Project Data, security access information and configuration information.


User Obligations

Pursuant to the Agreements, the User undertakes not to:

  • make available or otherwise share or use your access rights to use the Services by anyone other than you
  • use the Services to store, upload or transmit infringing, libellous, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful or tortious material, or to store or transmit material in violation of third-party privacy rights
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the system or network from which the Services are provided
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services
  • use the Services for any purpose except in accordance with the Agreements and the instructions of the System Administrator
  • use the Services to:
    • provide Services to third parties
    • or distribute unsolicited electronic messages
  • introduce or pass on any virus or other computer software routine which might damage or impair the normal operation of the Services
  • license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, display, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit, or otherwise make the Services available to any third party except Authorised Users
  • use the Services in any way that could damage our or the Customers reputation or goodwill, the reputation or goodwill of any third party which provides Third Party Content, the goodwill or other rights associated with the Services
  • copy, create derivatives of or duplicate the Services in any way or access or reproduce the Services to create any derivative works or works which compete with the Services or permit any third party to do so
  • distribute or transmit any part of the Services by any means
  • de-compile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer the Services or permit any third party to do so or modify, remove or circumvent any markings, copyright or proprietary notices on, or security measures protecting, the Services or permit any third party to do so
  • use the Services or the Documentation in any way that WicketWorks could regard, on reasonable grounds, to be unacceptable (we may from time to time notify you of the circumstances which we regard as unacceptable).


End User Licence Agreement

Users are required to read, acknowledge and accept our End User Licence Agreement (EULA) before accessing the DMS and/or the non-public pages of the ACCEDE website.  To request a copy of the EULA please email info@wicketworks.com.


Changes to the Acceptable Use Policy

WicketWorks may modify this Policy at its sole discretion and such modifications shall be effective upon their publication on the DMS or ACCEDE website.

This Acceptable Use Policy has been updated and is effective as of 10 November, 2016.
