Can I do an on premise implementation?

Yes, an on premise implementation is possible under certain circumstances though the licence fee structure would be subject to further negotiation.  We do not encourage on premise implementation due to the cost disadvantage and limitations on our capacity to maintain WicketWorks high customer support standards.

Tell me about your data security measures?

Very secure is the short answer.  WicketWorks understands that confidentiality and data security is critical in any Cloud-based SaaS solution.  To ensure your data security and integrity is maintained, ACCEDE’s server and software infrastructure utilise the following:

  • server hosting by a leading and trusted supplier (Amazon Web Services)
  • the data transmitted between your devices and the server is encrypted using a 128 bit SSL Certificate – the same level of security as on-line banking
  • Hosted servers are fully redundant and backed up across multiple locations globally
  • Clustered load balancers, web servers, database servers and storage servers ensure a consistent, stable and completely replicated environment
  • ACCEDE flat file download functionality to allow you to back-up project data to your own servers as and when you deem necessary.

Are checklists and punch lists / snag lists related?

Checklists are distinct from punch lists / snag lists.

When snagging/punch listing, the tablet device user ventures into the field with a blank sheet of paper, looking for anomalies.

When checklisting, the user goes armed with a pre-defined list of items to tick off.

Checklists are defined by creating a checklist template, typically using the Control Centre and then allocating to an item in the third level of the project structure. Other than this allocation there is no relationship between checklists and punch lists / snag lists.

What are my options at project completion?

On project completion you can choose from the following:

Continuing ACCEDE project licencees (annual renewal required):

  • On your request we will open a new ACCEDE project (say for your next job) and convert the newly completed project to ‘Hibernation’ status.  The data associated with the hibernated project/s remains available for analysis and project comparison reporting but the hibernated projects cannot be updated.  Providing you do not exceed the number of ‘Live’ projects in your licence agreement there are no charges applicable to hibernated projects for clients who renew their annual ACCEDE licence for use on future projects,
  • If you have exceeded the number of ‘Live’ projects per your licence agreement, convert the project to ‘Defects Liability Period’ (DLP) status (50% of the equivalent ‘Live’ per project licence fee) with a consequent loss of support (for that project only) but you will be able to process a limited number of monthly updates to the project and project data remains available for analysis and cross project reporting,
  • If you have exceeded the number of ‘Live’ projects per your licence agreement but require only project ‘read/report access’, convert the project to ‘Hibernation’ status (25% of the equivalent ‘Live’ per project licence fee), again there is a loss of support (for that project only) but project data and the ACCEDE system remains available to enable data analysis and project comparison reporting,
  • If you wish to retain full access and support for your completed project, talk to your ACCEDE representative about purchasing additional ‘Live’ project licences.

If you do not wish to renew your ACCEDE licence when it falls due:

  • Convert the project to ‘Defects Liability Period’ (DLP) status (50% of the ‘Live’ licence fee) with a consequent loss of support but you will be able to process a limited number of monthly updates to the project and project data remains available for analysis and cross project reporting,
  • Convert the project to ‘Hibernation’ status (25% of the ‘Live’ licence fee), again there is a loss of support but project data and the ACCEDE system remains available to enable data analysis and project comparison reporting,
  • End the project with loss of all access to the project on the server and we will facilitate the download of data into an excel spreadsheet for use as you see fit (free of charge).
